Hello!
Khaleel Gandhi is an interdisciplinary artist specializing in film, theatre production and mixed media. He is a recent graduate of distinction from McMaster University, holding an Honours B.A. in Theatre, Film and Multimedia Studies. His area of interest lies in the intersections of the stage and screen through mixed media installations and projects.
Khaleel has long had a passion for the arts since growing up in his hometown of Collingwood, Ontario. He has participated in many artistic projects over his career. His most recent project was Twenty Years by the Bay, a feature-length documentary about the history of Theatre by the Bay that premiered in July, 2023. You can check out this latest project here.
Khaleel is also a professional stage manager with numerous shows (both union and non-union) under his belt and has practising in this field since 2016. You can check out his latest stage management projects here.
Outside of his artistic practise, you can find Khaleel working as Theatre by the Bay’s Communications Officer or editing videos for B.Fresh Media.
In his spare time, he loves reading a good book or playing video games.
